Investing in Energy Effectiveness
Written by Steve Heising

Investments in energy effectiveness pay dividends in three important ways:

Cash flow from reduced monthly energy costs.

Rebates from Utilities reduce capital investment costs.

State and Federal Tax Incentives deductions and credits further reduces costs.

Productivity benefits can be substantial and would be a fourth dividend.

Simple investments can yeild attractive returns. Operating cost savings goes straight to the bottom line in business, and cash flow freed up from noticing and "harvesting" the low hanging fruit can be reinvested incrementally in additional energy saving measures.

LOS ALAMOS RENEWABLE ENERGY DEVELOPS 100% POLLUTION FREE PROCESS TO PRODUCE ELECTRICITY AND FUEL USING THE SUN
New technology is an economical, environmentally sustainable answer
to the world's energy needs.

POJOAQUE, February 8, 2005 - Los Alamos Renewable Energy (LARE), located in Pojoaque, New Mexico, announced today that it has made a dramatic scientific breakthrough in creating fuel and electricity from the sun via a patented carbon dioxide (CO2) splitting process, providing an inexpensive and pollution-free alternative to other processes for making fuels.

At its plant in Pojoaque, LARE has successfully demonstrated its ability to "split CO2" using solar energy to produce electricity and fuel. This process, called SOLAREC™ (Solar Reduction of Carbon), uses ultra-high temperatures created by focusing the energy from the sun, to split CO2 into its component parts, carbon monoxide and oxygen. The carbon monoxide is then reacted chemically to produce fuel with no harmful CO2 emissions.
